Neon Canyon/Golden Cathedral

Explore the backcountry of Escalante, UT a mecca for canyoneering! 

This is a technical backpacking trip and will be a once in a lifetime. You guide will lead you through the Escalante Wilderness and through two technical canyons. Private & Open Groups available. 

Neon Canyon

4 Day backpacking and canyoneering adventure to Neon Canyon. Rappel through the famous Golden Cathedral!

Day one will be meet up in the St. George area, gear up, and head to Escalante.

Day two intro to canyoneering or refresh with Egypt 1, hike down to the Escalante river, and set up a base camp.

Day three run Neon Canyon, and check out petroglyphs or add Ringtail Canyon if there is time. 

Day four hike back to the trailhead and drive back to St. George, aim to back it by 5pm. 

10+ Miles Roundtrip. 1500 Feet of elevation loss & gain. Technical canyoneering.
